Young Lambeth Coop are looking for young people from 11-19 who care about their community and want to develop their knowledge and skills. You will be scoring youth organisations and contributing to the decision about which organisations receive funding of up to £150,000 over the next 2 years, so we need responsible, ambitious, sensitive and interested young people. The training will include:
 
  • Understanding commissioning
  • How to fairly score presentations
  • Professionalism and confidence
  • High quality questioning
  • Understanding SEN and LGBTQ services
  • Debating and discussing to express opinions and make group decisions.
 
Anchor If you are passionate about your community and you have the skills to make big decisions then sign up now to become a YLC Young Community Commissioner! Training will take place on Saturday 14th January 2017 from 11:00 – 16:00, lunch will be provided. You will then need to take part in the commissioning panel on January 21st – January 27th. You will also receive a YLC Commissioner’s Certificate. All this will help you to gain experience, build your confidence and do some training which looks GREAT on your CV.
